has the purpose to provide support for the children under 7 and their families. In our program we use the Early Childhood approach and the best practice guidelines.
Our aim is to:
– Learn new skills.
– Work towards the goals listed in the children NDIS plans or/and outcomes that the families are aiming to.
– Acquire independency and do things for themselves as they get older.
The Early Childhood Program is organised into 3 groups:
Playgroup (birth to 3 years)
This Playgroup session for Under 3’s is held once a week, lasting two hours.
A key part of this session is for parents to participate in hands-on facilitation, supporting their child’s engagement in playgroup activities and continuing strategies and approaches at home.
Transition (3-5 yrs)
Children are eligible to commence in a Transition group from the semester they turn three until five years old. The transition group attend one day per week from 11:30 am – 14:30 pm, and parents/caregivers do not need to accompany children to this session (however they are welcome to stay until the child is settled).
PLEASE NOTE: On Thursdays the Transition and Primary groups are combined in one session.
Primary (6 yrs)
The Primary group is for children aged 6 years old. Children in this phase have two days every fortnight. One day per week every week from 11:30 pm – 14:30 pm and another day every fortnight on a Saturday (9:00-11:30). The focus on each child’s specific program becomes a significant focus when transitioning to this group.
PLEASE NOTE: On Thursdays the Transition and Primary groups are combined in one session.
All children will have a continued update on ‘Storypark’ (Family communication engagement app) about the children’s achievements and the goals and skills we are working on with each of them.
Our program aims to provide children with a small class environment to focus on individual goals.
Our education programs provide the opportunity for your child to engage in experiences that are planned and deliberate. The teacher and the educators use play-based learning to enhance and direct their planning and programming.
